House of Propellers is proud to announce illustrator Will Broome’s first solo show “There’s something in the wardrobe”. New work, one-off originals, some numbered prints and an exclusive printed mug will be available to view and buy.
“Like a care bear that is beyond caring; My Little Pony on a trip to the glue factory; Paddington on the psychiatrists couch”.
At first glance Will Broome’s drawings appear cute and cuddly. But, on closer inspection, there is something darker that lurks behind that happy go lucky façade. His work has featured in POP, Dazed and Confused, Wallpaper, I-D and The Guardian. He has an avid following; having sold in Paris, London, Copenhagen and New York.
Collaborations include iconic brands such as Wedgwood, Marc Jacobs, Missoni, Gucci, Fashion East, Bistrotheque and Topshop. Will Broome’s work can be viewd at his website, at Bistrotheque (where the loo’s have never been so glamorously graffiti-ed), and on many Marc Jacobs T-shirts.
